Our annual Plant Sale is a terrific way to add plants to your garden and support the Society.

Our annual plant sale fund raiser is fast approaching!
We need your donations of plants, shrubs and trees, to sell. We will also take garden related items to sell.
You can drop off your donations starting at 8:30am.

To get your plant donations ready and looking their best, start preparing a week or two before the sale.
- Water the plants you have selected and then dig them out gently with lots of soil around the roots.
- Use a clean pot that is about 3 cm bigger than the roots in all directions.
- Put some soil in the pot, add the plant and then fill in with soil around the roots; tap in gently and water well. You may need to add a bit more soil after watering; the plant should be sitting as deep in the pot as it was in the soil.
- Water and keep in the shade, hardening them off in the sun for a couple of hours after a few days. If the plant stars to droop, keep it in the shade.
- Before dropping off your plants for the sale, check for weed seedlings in the pot, nip off any broken or wilted leaves, top up with soil if needed, water, wipe off the outsides of the pot and remember to label the plants.
